The Aquafilter

Aquafilter systems employ a manual pump system to push dirty water through microporous membranes in order to filter out solids and bacteria that are potentially dangerous and harmful to human health.
Back flushing systems allow gelatinous and solids build-up on the “Dirty” side to be washed off in order to maintain high filtration efficiency.

The “Aquafilter Community” on the right has the capacity to provide safe drinking water to small communities. This illustration is of the prototype which is currently undergoing field trails in various locations prior to bulk production. Capacity is about 300 Litres per hour (with willing helpers).

The “Aquafilter Family” is designed to fit into the standard Rotary Aquabox which can be filled with other essentials and sent out at short notice to disaster areas. Capacity is about 60 Litres/Hr
