I have recently returned from Mbita in Kenya after testing your water filter through Gill Blisset. The local people were amazed by the water filter and amazed by how life changing it actually could be.
The testing was a success and the water filter has been left with the health clinic to serve to community with clean water. I have written a short article about the district in which the water filter was tested, the current water conditions and related water bourne diseases and the impact the water filter had upon them. I am sending the installation surveys to your address also.
My time spent in Africa allowed me to observe the terrible condition of drinking water which then leads to many deaths due to the already weakened immune systems ( due to the high HIV prevalence). From this I really feel I have formed an attachment with Mbita and I would love to organise the fundraising to help support the district. With this in mind I was wondering whether the Water Filter was at a stage to be supplied in a greater number out to this area, for example a couple more supplied to a few of the larger schools? If this is possible, what price range would the water filters be?
