We have sent two Aquafilter Communities to Haiti with the second batch of 630 Aquaboxes. We are now waiting for feedback to make sure that they meet the needs of the people before we send more.
One more Aquafilter is on its way to Gambia. An Aquabox volunteer is taking it with him when he and his wife visit Gambia for a holiday as part of their luggage.
Two Aquafilters will soon be on their way to Ghana. We have had a request from volunteers with the charity 'Original Volunteers' In the schools they were involved in the children were drinking water straight from the river and were suffering from stomach upsets and Bilharzia. There are other schools they would like to help so we plan to send more Aquafilters when these have been evaluated and funds have been raised.
